Dahlia is a brunette goddess whose sensual presence and lusty demeanor livened up any of the small handful of films that she graced in. She was a former Penthouse Pet who broke into porn in 1992 with a splashy appearance in Andrew Blake’s “Hidden Obsessions.”
She started her way as a stripper at the age of 19, and shortly got approached by one agent for some pornographic magazines. In March 1992 she became the cover girl of Hustler under the name “Alicia” and as Penthouse Pet of the Month the same year under her alias Jami Dion.
Dahlia Grey was born Monday February 14 (Valentines Day) in Seattle, WA. As usual with nude models the year is kept as a secret, but we have reason to believe it must be 1972.
Andrew Blake, a movie director for the rare artistic line in porn industry, worked for Penthouse in those days and saw both pictorials. When he some month later was going to produce a “play off” video with the pets of the months, he meet Dahlia for the first time.
He liked her natural body, and charm too, and talked her into having a part in his next movie, “Hidden Obsessions”. History would have been different, not much but a little, if she had turn down his offer. In stead she accepted and a future cooperation was formed.
Actually her part in “Hidden Obsessions” is pretty small (still under her alias Jami Dion). Her measurements are 36C-24-35, being 5 feet, 11 inches (180 cm) tall and some says chemical free for silicone. As with so many other nude models she has scratched her skin with tattoos; right shoulder blade of a leaf; right forecep that reads "Property of God".
Suze first shot this Penthouse Pet in June 1991 shortly before she starred in Andrew Blake's 1992 video hit "Hidden Obsessions". Her dream man seems to be unattainable and she is single as of writing. She claims to attract the wrong kind of men, those who are too submissive. Instead she wants a man who challenge her psychical, and has, at least to a certain degree, a dominant personality. She regards her self to be open toward sex, but is not a fetishist, in spite of her many typical movie roles. “If it’s someone I trust,” she have said, “bring on the whips and chain.”
After standing in front of the camera for seven years she has moved behind it. “I can not always be in front of it and I need new challenges!” In some of the latest Andrew Blake movies she is credited as a producer.
In her seven-year career from 1992 to 1999 she made a total of 17 movies, which three were for Penthouse. It’s quite a low number for a porn star, but Dahlia Grey is more of an erotic star. Dahlia Grey only did girl-girl and solo parts. She doesn’t kiss her female co-stars, she merely touches her lips to theirs, or the tip of her tongue to theirs.
“Without Andrew Blake I wouldn’t have considered being in a porn movie,” she has commented. Dahlia become Blake's contract girl, working exclusively for him and Blake refers to her literally as his muse -- the inspiration for his work. “Dahlia has worked for me over several years,” Andrew Blake has said, “and I consider her to be a unique talent.”
Dahlia Grey cemented her place in the erotic minds of porn fans with her steamy turn in Blake's 1993 "Les Femmes Erotiques." She turned in a trio of sizzling Sapphic encounters that stand as masterpieces of eye-popping sensuality. Dahlia took on Raven, Julia Ann, and P.J. Sparxx and proved to be one of the most erotic girl/girl performers of the decade.
Dahlia’s surgically enhanced frame exuded sex, pure and simple.
